Check Ya Balls

Born from a mission to boost men’s wellness — and designed with a very cheeky sense of humour — Check Ya Balls started as a pair of cartoon balls bouncing proudly on my ultrarunning shorts. They’ve travelled thousands of kilometres, including the legendary 160km loop of the Tour du Mont Blanc. The reaction? HUGE. People pointed, laughed, asked questions… and then asked where they could get their own pair.

That’s when it hit me:

What if these balls could do more than make people smile?

What if they could spark conversations?

What if they could save lives?

And so, Check Ya Balls was born.

I obsessed over the designs (obviously) and even more over the materials. As an active runner, I wanted underwear that treated the crotch like royalty — ultra-comfy, ultra-soft, ultra-moisture-wicking. Something guys would love wearing AND something that would remind them, every single time they pull them on, to check their balls.

The prototypes? Tested by the regular gym crew — and they didn’t just approve, they gave them a full sweaty thumbs up for comfort and the mission.

Next, I partnered with two incredible cancer charities: The Robin Cancer Trust and Cahonas. I’ve been featured on both their podcasts, sharing my cancer story.
